Faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)
“And when you heard the word of truth (the gospel of your salvation)—when you believed in Christ —you were marked with the seal of the promised holy spirit, which is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.” (Ephesians 1:13-14)
We must walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7)
