Who is God? What is His name?
God is the one true living Almighty Creator God. His name is YHWH.
Exodus 3:14

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14

How many true living Gods are there?
There is only one true living God, the Creator, the Father.

Who is the Creator?

How was the world created?
Through his wisdom and understanding, God created the world. God spoke and his creation was accomplished.

When did God start to exist?
God has always existed; He is eternal, with no beginning and no end.

Does God get tired?
God does not get weary.

Can God be tempted?
God cannot be tempted.

Who is our heavenly Father?
God, whose name is YHWH.

Why is God called “Father”?
God is known as mankind’s father because He created His son Adam from whom all mankind is descended. God is the father of His begotten son, Jesus. Believers become adopted sons (and daughters) of God through Christ.

What is the origin of man?

How did God create the first man?
God created man by forming him from the dust of the ground. Dust plus Breath (God’s Spirit) equals a Living Being.

How did God give man life?

What are the names of the first man and woman?

What is the condition of man during death?
At death, man returns to the dust. There is no consciousness during death.

To what does “sleep of the dead” refer?
“Sleep of the dead” implies the future awakening from death at resurrection in the last days.

For what are the dead waiting?
The dead are waiting for resurrection, either to life or judgment and destruction.

What is conditional immortality?
Conditional immortality refers to receiving immortality (eternal life, life in the age to come) if the condition of having Christ is met.

Messiah Jesus
What does “Messiah” mean?
“Messiah” is literally “the anointed one.” “Messiah” from the Hebrew and “Christ” from the Greek mean the same thing.

The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” John 4:25
What will Messiah do?
As the Anointed One, he will fill the roles of priest, prophet, and king. He delivers mankind from sin and will govern the world.

Why were the Jews waiting for Messiah?
God promised David that his descendant’s throne would be forever. Israel was not governing its own land at the time Jesus was on earth. Since Rome was in control at that time, the Jews wanted someone to take back governing the land for Israel.

What is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God (also Kingdom of heaven) is a kingdom (governmental system) that God sets up in place of the kingdoms of mankind. The Kingdom of God is the earthly reign of Jesus as well as the eternal reign of God which follows.
